The Indiana Lanters Reunion - 2002. 
 Descendants of Andrew Jackson Lanter,
           
 
The first Reunion of the Lanter families of Illinois was held in 1927. No officers were elected or any records kept. The second Reunion was held in Decatur, Illinois September 9, 1928. Permanent chairman was Herbert Lanter, Ira Lanter as Temporary chairman, Clifford Lanter, secretary, and Daisy Goken as Vice President. Voted to write up a family history were Ira Lanter, Sexton Lanter, Leslie Lanter and Enos Lanter.

There were fifty-six members and seven visitors present some were from Kentucky.
